Pre-dawn Potomac shooting leaves one clinging to life

POTOMAC, MD — A person was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries early Tuesday after a shooting erupted at a Potomac intersection, according to Montgomery County police.

Officers responded to the scene at Seven Locks Road and Seven Hill Lane around 2:20 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. When Police arrived at the scene, they found a victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.

First responders administered aid at the scene before transporting the victim to a local hospital. The individual’s condition was described as serious.

As of Tuesday afternoon, no arrests had been made, and investigators have not disclosed a motive or suspect information.

The investigation remains ongoing.
