BURY PARK, NJ — A new wave of high-end coastal living is coming to the Jersey Shore as Inspired by Somerset Development on Thursday officially launched sales for LIDO Asbury Park, a luxury condominium project set along Ocean Avenue.
Just a few decades ago, the Asbury Park waterfront looked like a scene out of a Middle East warzone mixed with NYC’s Lower East Side of the 1970s and 1980s. A lot has changed since.
Located at 1201 Ocean Avenue, the eight-story development will include 112 condos ranging from one to four bedrooms, with units starting at $825,000 and topping $8 million for select residences. The project marks a major entry into the Asbury Park market by Somerset Development, the firm behind the Bell Works projects.
“LIDO is raising the bar even higher as a singular offering that combines world-class design, unrivaled amenities, and elevated shorefront living,” said Ralph Zucker, CEO and founder of Inspired by Somerset Development.
Designed in collaboration with Clodagh Design, Minno & Wasko Architects, and Melillo Bauer Carman, the building will feature expansive residences — some more than 3,800 square feet — many with private terraces, plunge pools, and ocean views. Interiors will include white oak finishes, Taj Mahal stone surfaces, and Miele appliances.
LIDO’s amenity package includes a saltwater infinity pool, multiple plunge pools, private cabanas, outdoor dining areas, a spa center with hammam and saunas, a fitness studio, and a private park. Indoor features include a library lounge, coworking spaces, a game room, pet spa, and screening room.
First closings are expected in 2027. The project’s marketing and sales are led by Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.
