STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A 36-year-old Front Royal man remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle crash Saturday night in Stafford County, authorities said.

Deputies responded around 8:19 p.m. on July 26 to the area of Garrisonville Road and Furnace Road after reports of a crash. Investigators said the motorcycle struck a curb, throwing the driver from the vehicle.

Witnesses provided crucial information at the scene as deputies and bystanders performed life-saving measures before the rider was airlifted to a hospital.

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Unit determined that speed was a factor in the crash.

Anyone with additional information about the collision is asked to contact the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
