NEWARK, Del. — Delaware State Police are investigating a late-night home invasion after two armed men entered a Newark residence, tied up the occupant, and stole cash and property.

Police confirmed the victim was not injured during the incident. Authorities said the suspects were dressed in dark-colored clothing and carried firearms.

No surveillance footage has been recovered. The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Robbery Unit is leading the investigation.

“Detectives are asking anyone with information about this case to contact Detective J. Dempsey by calling (302) 365-8472,” police said in a release.
