KING WILLIAM, VA – A quick stop at Kent Super Market turned life-changing for James Lipscomb, who won a $205,001 jackpot playing Cash 5 with EZ Match.

Lipscomb matched all five numbers – 5, 16, 23, 26, 36 – in the July 24 drawing. He used Easy Pick to let the computer choose his numbers. The winning ticket was purchased at Kent Super Market, 20623 King William Road in King William.

The retiree said he plans to use part of his winnings to upgrade equipment for his ongoing home restoration project and share the rest with his family and church.

Cash 5 with EZ Match jackpots start at $200,000 and grow until won. The odds of matching all five numbers are 1 in 1,221,759.

The Virginia Lottery, which directs all profits to K-12 education, raised more than $934 million for public schools last fiscal year, including more than $1.6 million for King William County.
