BALTIMORE, Md. — As summer enters its final stretch, Marylanders can look forward to a busy August packed with football, festivals, and fairground fun across the state.
The month kicks off Sunday, Aug. 3, with the Ravens Stadium Practice at M&T Bank Stadium, running from 1 p.m. until the end of practice. Fans can also find the Maryland Lottery at its usual RavensWalk location for the preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts later that week, with activities from 4–7 p.m. before kickoff.
On Saturday, Aug. 9, the Havre de Grace Arts, Wine, Jazz & Soul Fest will take place at the Concord Point Lighthouse Keeper’s House from 11 a.m.–6 p.m., featuring Grammy-nominated artist Maysa as the headliner.
The following day, Aug. 10, Pasadena’s Kurtz Beach will host the Made in Maryland festival from 11 a.m.–5 p.m., celebrating local culture and businesses.
On Thursday, Aug. 14, the festivities return to M&T Bank Stadium for Baltimore Magazine’s Best of Baltimore event, marking the publication’s 50th anniversary from 6–11 p.m.
To close the month, the Maryland State Fair will return to Timonium with the Lottery booth stationed in the Exhibition Hall. Visitors can join the fun from Aug. 21–24, Aug. 28–Sept. 1, and Sept. 4–7. Maryland Lottery Day at the Fair is set for Saturday, Aug. 30, featuring appearances from former Ravens players.
