Surveillance captures gunmen who opened fire in DC intersection

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives are searching for multiple suspects connected to a shooting that took place in Southwest early on July 4.

According to investigators, around 12:26 a.m., a vehicle entered the intersection of P Street and Carrollsburg Place Southwest when multiple suspects opened fire on the car. Both the vehicle and the suspects fled before officers arrived.

A short time later, a man suffering from gunshot wounds arrived at an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim’s vehicle, which had been damaged by gunfire, was later recovered by police.

Surveillance cameras captured the suspects, and photos have been released by investigators.
