Pedestrian clings to life after late-night collision in Galloway

A man was left critically injured after being struck by a vehicle late Tuesday night while crossing South Pomona Road in Galloway Township.

At approximately 11:10 p.m., police responded to reports of a person lying in the road near Langley Avenue. Officers found Domingo Lopez-Lopez unconscious and unresponsive in the southbound lane. He had been hit by a vehicle driven by Jhoanssel Castro while walking westbound in the middle of the road.

The investigation is ongoing.

The man was crossing mid-road when the car hit him and left him clinging to life.
