A 19-year-old Stafford man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly forcing another car off Richmond Highway and brandishing what appeared to be a firearm, officials said.
Deputies said the incident happened around 1:52 p.m. near Coal Landing Road when the suspect, driving a white Tesla, swerved into the victim’s lane and then displayed a weapon with a laser attachment.

Deputy J.L. Jones located the vehicle minutes later in the 2600 block of Richmond Highway and conducted a high-risk stop. The driver, identified as Jayden Horton, refused to answer questions without a lawyer present, according to authorities.

Deputies found a BB gun with a laser attachment inside the Tesla. Horton was charged with brandishing a firearm and booked into the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,500 secured bond.
