Toledo 76 store sells $50K winning lottery ticket in Holland

A man from Holland, Ohio, scored a $50,000 prize on the Ohio Lottery’s VIP Millions scratch-off game.

The winner chose the cash payout, which after federal and state taxes of 28 percent leaves him with $36,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at Toledo 76 #6019, located at 7503 Airport Highway in Holland. VIP Millions is a $50 scratch-off with a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years, and as of July 31, 30 top prizes remain.

The Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education since 1974.
