Woman pulled from Harlem elevator and attacked by masked man

A 31-year-old woman was violently assaulted early Thursday morning after being pulled from an elevator and groped by an unknown man in a residential building near Madison Avenue and East 109th Street.

The incident occurred around 2:55 a.m. as the woman was entering an elevator. The attacker followed her in, grabbed her by the pants, and yanked her out of the elevator. He then groped her over her shirt and hit her multiple times, causing her to fall to the floor.

The suspect fled on foot and remains at large.

The victim refused medical treatment at the scene.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, medium build, and believed to be between 30 and 40 years old. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a red hoodie, green pants, black sneakers, and a black face mask.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
