Jackson, NJ – Crowds are expected to pack Johnson Memorial Park on Sunday as Jackson Day returns with a full day of food, music, rides, and community pride.
The annual celebration kicks off at 11 a.m. and runs through 8 p.m., offering something for every age group throughout the sprawling park grounds.
Residents and visitors will find drone shows, helicopter landings, and monster truck rides among the event’s biggest draws.
Set for Sunday, September 14, at 192 Kierych Memorial Drive, the town’s signature community event is expected to draw thousands for a day packed with family-friendly entertainment and live performances. Local favorites The Black Ties Band and The Suyat Band will headline the main stage, while thrill seekers can take part in a range of unique attractions.
One of the most anticipated spectacles is the Empire State Monster Truck ride, offering attendees a chance to feel the rumble of high-powered tires during guided laps around the park. Also returning this year is professional ATV racer Nick Gennusa, representing Facility 15, who will perform demos and meet with fans.
A beer garden will be open throughout the day, alongside a lineup of food vendors serving everything from classic carnival eats to local favorites. The drone show and helicopter landing are scheduled for the late afternoon, offering visual spectacles to close out the evening in dramatic fashion.
The township organizers thanked sponsors including Six Flags, Optimum, and Walter Earle and the Driving Academy for their contributions, noting their support has helped expand the event’s scale and offerings.
In the event of inclement weather, the celebration will be moved to the following Sunday, September 21.
