Queens, NY – A lucky New York Lottery player from Queens claimed a $100,000 prize after matching four numbers and the Powerball on a ticket with Powerplay, purchased at a deli in Elmhurst.

The ticket was for the July 20 Powerball drawing and was sold at Roxy Deli & Grocery, located at 86-20 Queens Boulevard. By adding the $1 Powerplay option to the standard $2 ticket, the winner doubled the standard third-tier prize from $50,000 to $100,000.

The Powerball jackpot for that drawing was over $100 million. The winning numbers were 03, 06, 11, 17, 66 and Powerball 02. The Powerplay multiplier was 2x.

This win marks another significant payout in Queens County, which continues to see strong participation in Powerball and other multi-state games.

Players have up to one year from the draw date to claim prizes from New York Lottery draw games.
