21-year-old shot near 30th and Market Streets, Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — A 21-year-old man was shot in the left shin on a highway near 30th and Market Streets at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening, authorities said.

The victim was transported by Medic 13B to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center and is reported to be in stable condition. Philadelphia Police have secured the scene and are continuing their investigation.
