21-year-old shot to death on Thames Street in Baltimore overnight

Baltimore, MD — A 21-year-old man was fatally shot early Thursday morning in the city’s Central District, police confirmed.

At approximately 2:48 a.m., a patrol officer heard gunfire and responded to the 1500 block of Thames Street, where they found the victim unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds.

Officers immediately performed CPR until medics arrived and rushed the man to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or any information about suspects or a possible motive.
