WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department has announced that they have made an arrest in the shooting of a woman in Southeast D.C. on February 28th.
Just before 4 pm, police arrived at the 2800 Block of Alabama Avenue to investigate a shooting report. At the location, police found an adult woman shooting victim. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
23-year-old Lucky Curry of D.C. was arrested yesterday and charged with the shooting.
