WASHINGTON, D.C. – A woman was shot and killed on Wednesday morning in Northeast, D.C. Detectives from The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department are investigating the shooting.
Police arrived at the 3700 Block of Jamison Street for a shooting report at about 11 am in a residential building . At the location, police found 23-year-old Kaijah McCoy of D.C. suffering from a gunshot wound. McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene.
