24-year-old man fatally stabbed in Queens after dispute

QUEENS, N.Y. – A 24-year-old man was fatally stabbed early Sunday morning following a verbal altercation in Jackson Heights, police said.

Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 6:08 a.m. near the intersection of 35th Avenue and 102nd Street in the 115th Precinct. Upon arrival, police learned that Byron Lema-Naula, 24, had been stabbed in the neck after a dispute with another individual.

Emergency Medical Services transported Lema-Naula to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
