BROOKLYN, NY – A 24-year-old man was fatally shot on Saturday evening at the intersection of 54 Street and Church Avenue. The shooting, which took place at approximately 8:43 PM within the 67th Precinct, resulted in multiple gunshot wounds to the victim’s abdomen. Emergency responders transported the injured man to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police have taken two persons of interest into custody as part of the ongoing investigation. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of his family.
