24-year-old shot and killed in Brooklyn

NEW YORK CITY – On Monday, at approximately 4:13 pm, police responded to a 911 call reporting a male shot in front of 9502 Avenue L, within the confines of the 69 Precinct in Brooklyn.

Upon arrival, officers found a 24-year-old male with two gunshot wounds to the torso. Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. The identification of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
