BALTIMORE, MD – A 26-year-old female was found deceased with signs of blunt-force trauma at an apartment complex on the 300 block of West Franklin Street today, according to Baltimore Police.
Officers arrived at the scene around 11:34 a.m. in response to a call for service. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim, whose body was subsequently taken into custody by the Medical Examiner’s Office for further examination. Detectives will notify the next of kin.
Preliminary findings indicate that a missing person’s report had been filed shortly before the discovery of the deceased individual. Homicide detectives have assumed control over the ongoing investigation.
