27-Year-Old Shot in Head in Broad Daylight Shooting

BALTIMORE, MD – A motor vehicle crash investigation by police in Baltimore quickly turned into a homicide investigation.

At approximately 2 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Russell Street to investigate a reported vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, officers found a 27-year-old male with a possible gunshot wound to his head. Medics responded, and the victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives took charge of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2100.
