Baltimore shooting victim undergoing surgery, expected to survive

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A man was shot yesterday afternoon in Central Baltimore. The Baltimore Police Department is investigating this shooting.

Shortly before 4:30 pm, officers arrived at a local hospital to investigate a walk-in shooting victim. At the hospital, police found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his right hip. The gunshot wound is non-life-threatening, but the victim is currently undergoing surgery for his injuries.

Detectives have not yet determined where the shooting took place, and have not made any arrests at this time.
