28-year-old in critical condition after drive-by shooting at Chicago park

Chicago, Illinois – A 28-year-old male was shot multiple times while standing on the sidewalk in a park in Chicago. The victim was identified as a male but his identity has not been released yet.

The incident occurred when a dark sedan approached the victim and an unknown offender from inside the vehicle fired at him. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was immediately rushed to St. Francis Hospital by the Chicago Fire Department.

He is currently in critical condition and receiving medical attention.

The police have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting. The case has been handed over to the Area Three detectives for further investigation. They are currently working on gathering information and leads to track down the offender.
