28-Year-Old Shot and Killed in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – Another young man has been shot and killed in the Bronx.

Police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting incident involving a male victim on Friday at around 3:50 PM.

Detectives with the NYPD confirmed the shooting occurred at 281 East 161 Street in the Bronx.

Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officials discovered a 28-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. Emergency Medical Services arrived at the location and transported the injured individual to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln.

The victim was pronounced dead at the medical facility. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.

The victim was identified as Denzel Plummer, 28.
