29-year-old shot and killed near Carroll Park

BALTIMORE, MD – Police are investigating the shooting death of a man inside a home just two blocks from Carroll Park on Monday.

According to the Baltimore Police Department, at around 9 pm, officers responded to a home on the 1800 block of Eagle Street after receiving a 911 call regarding a shooting.

When officers arrived on the scene, they located a 29-year-old male victim inside the home with multiple gunshot wounds.

On March 27, 2023, at approximately 8:56 p.m., Southern District officers responded to the 1800 block of Eagle Street for a report of a shooting.

EMS treated the man before taking him to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Police are investigating. At this time, no arrests have been made. Last March, another man was shot on the same block.
