3-Year-Old Boy Shot and Killed in Cleveland in Hail of Gunfire

CLEVELAND, OH — On Thursday afternoon, a shooting near West 66th Street and Denison Avenue left a 3-year-old boy dead and a 31-year-old man injured. Deputy Chief Ali Pillow confirmed the outcome.

On arrival, officers found the toddler and the man shot and had them transported to Metro Hospital.

The young boy was in a car with his mother and younger brother when the shooting occurred.

Eyewitnesses reported a quarrel preceding the sound of seven or eight gunshots.

Two individuals, in connection to the young boy’s death, have been arrested, with more expected to be taken into custody. The 31-year-old man’s condition is stable.
