Fort Loramie woman hits $300K top prize on Ohio Lottery scratch-off

FORT LORAMIE, OH — A routine stop at Meyer’s Garage and Drive Thru turned life-changing for one customer who scratched off a $300,000 top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s $10 Feeling Lucky ticket.

The occasional player said she initially doubted her win and even asked another shopper to double-check the ticket. After scanning it, the reality set in — she had claimed one of the game’s top prizes.

The winner, identified as Ericia, will take home about $216,000 after federal and state tax withholdings. She told lottery officials she plans to meet with a financial planner before deciding how to use the windfall.

Meyer’s Garage and Drive Thru, located at 6377 State Route 66, will receive a $3,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

According to the Ohio Lottery, six top prizes in the Feeling Lucky game remain, along with thousands of other prizes. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.83.
