SUITLAND, MD – Police in Suitland are investigating after 32-year-old Marco Sawyer, of Capitol Heights was shot and killed early Tuesday morning.
According to police, at approximately 4:40 am, patrol officers were called to the 4000 block of Silver Hill Road for a report of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered Sawyer unresponsive suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
At this time, police have not identified any suspects or made any arrests in the shooting. A cash reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest in this murder.
