35-Year-Old Shot and Killed in Downtown Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – A man was shot and killed early Monday morning in downtown Baltimore. The Baltimore Police Department reported that at approximately 12:49 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Park Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

“When officers arrived at the scene, they located a 35-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by ambulance and succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival,” police said in a statement on Monday.

After his passing, homicide investigators were summoned and assumed control over the investigation.
