WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 37-year-old man was shot and killed Monday afternoon in Southeast D.C. The incident happened at the 5000 Block of Benning Road.
Just before 2 pm, D.C. MPD officers arrived at the location to investigate a shooting report. Police found 37-year-old Michael Ashby, Jr suffering from a gunshot wound. Asby was pronounced dead at the scene.
