37-Year-Old Targeted in F-Train Robbery

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a grand larceny on the F train.

The incident occurred on Sunday, near the Van Wyck Boulevard/Briarwood subway station.

A 37-year-old female was targeted aboard a northbound F train. The suspect, described as a male with a dark complexion, accessed the victim’s bag and stole her cellphone and cash.

The suspect fled to an unknown location.

The NYCD released a photo of the suspect, asking anyone with information to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. Tips can also be submitted online or via Twitter @NYPDTips.
