42-year-old woman arrested after January shooting in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — A 42-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a Northern District shooting that left a 22-year-old woman wounded, authorities said.

Investigators determined that Jacquetta Jackson shot the victim in the 3600 block of Park Heights Avenue on January 24 following a dispute. The injured woman was driven to the 2400 block of Keyworth Avenue, where officers initially responded to the shooting report. She was later transported to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

On February 11, Northwest District Patrol Officers arrested Jackson without incident. She was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with attempted first-degree murder.

The investigation remains ongoing.
