43-Year-Old Man Critical After Stabbing in Schenectady

Schenectady, NY – The Schenectady Police Department responded to a stabbing incident in the 1700 Block of Albany Street on Friday evening.

The victim, a 43-year-old male, sustained life-threatening injuries and was swiftly taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment. Officers were able to identify and apprehend the suspect, Belford Atchison, a 23-year-old from Schenectady, NY, who now faces multiple felony charges.
