45-year-old man shot in the Bronx pronounced dead at hospital

NEW YORK, NY – Police have identified a man shot yesterday in the Bronx. The 45-year-old man was fatally shot in front of 3700 Jerome Avenue, located in the Bronx, New York, early Saturday morning.

The victim was identified as Devon Millington who lived on Bussing Avenue.

Officers responded to a 911 call of a male shot at 5:47 am and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head.

He was taken to Montefiore Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

The incident took place within the jurisdiction of the 52nd Precinct, and the investigation is currently ongoing, with no arrests made yet.

Further details regarding the circumstances of the shooting are yet to be disclosed by the NYPD.
