47-year-old shot six times, survived in Chicago

CHICAGO, IL – A 47-year-old male was walking down the street when an unknown offender produced a firearm, striking the victim. The victim sustained six gunshot wounds to the right and left arms.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was rushed to the University of Chicago Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

The police have not yet made any arrests in the case, and Area Detectives are actively investigating the incident. It is unclear at this time whether the victim was targeted specifically or if it was a random act of violence.
