Xenia man wins $500K top prize on Ohio Lottery Cashword scratch-off

XENIA, OH – A Xenia resident is celebrating a life-changing win after hitting the $500,000 top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s $500,000 Cashword scratch-off game.

Lottery officials said the winning ticket was purchased at True North #717, located at 11 Ranchview Drive in Vandalia. After state and federal taxes, the winner will take home $360,000.

The $500,000 Cashword is a $10 scratch-off game that still has two top prizes remaining as of August 14.

Since its inception in 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to support education across the state.
