$50K Powerball ticket sold at Manhattan newsstand

NEW YORK, NY — A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a newsstand in Manhattan, the New York Lottery announced.

The third-prize-winning ticket for the Dec. 28 drawing was purchased at Kisk Newsstand, located at 110 W 34th St.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a pool of one to 69, with the red Power Ball drawn separately from a pool of one to 26.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

Lottery officials encourage all players to check their tickets for potential winnings.
