MANHATTAN, NY— A third-prize-winning ticket for the Oct. 9 Powerball drawing, worth $50,000, was sold in Manhattan.
The ticket was purchased at NYC Smoke Shop & Grocery, located at 809 8th Ave.
Powerball draws winning numbers from a pool of 69, with a separate draw for the red Power Ball from a pool of 26. The next Powerball drawing will take place on Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
