FRESH MEADOWS, NY – The New York Lottery has announced that one third-prize-winning ticket was sold for the Powerball drawing on August 2. The winning ticket, worth $50,000, was sold at Food Universe, located at 196-35 Horace Harding Expressway in Fresh Meadows.
The Powerball game involves drawing winning numbers from a field of one to 69, and the red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
