NEW YORK, NY — A third-prize-winning ticket for the August 19 Powerball drawing was sold in Manhattan, according to the New York Lottery.
The winning ticket, worth $50,000, was purchased at Lucky Corner, located at 200 W 96th Street.
The Powerball drawing, which selects numbers from a pool of 69 with a red Power Ball drawn separately from a pool of 26, takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
