$50K Powerball ticket sold in Prince George’s County

MT. RAINIER, MD — A Powerball player in Prince George’s County is celebrating a $50,000 third-tier win from the November 6 drawing, according to Maryland Lottery officials.

The winning ticket, sold at Kaywood Liquors located at 2205 Varnum Street in Mt. Rainier, matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball number. The winning numbers were 12, 17, 37, 58, and 62, with a Powerball of 4.

This $50,000 win marks the 53rd third-tier Powerball prize awarded in Maryland this year, with thousands of other smaller prizes won in the same drawing. In total, Maryland saw 7,895 winning Powerball tickets for the November 6 drawing, with prizes ranging from $4 to $50,000.

The Powerball jackpot now rolls to an estimated $92 million for the next drawing on Saturday, November 9. Lottery officials remind winners to sign the backs of their tickets and store them in a safe place, as they have 182 days from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
