$50K Powerball Tickets Sold in Brooklyn and Ogdensburg

New York, N.Y. — The New York Lottery has announced that two third-prize-winning tickets, each worth $50,000, were sold for the August 17 Powerball drawing.

The winning tickets were purchased at 477 News & Tobacco, located at 477 Myrtle Ave in Brooklyn, and at 7-Eleven, located at 1117 New York Ave in Ogdensburg.

Powerball numbers are drawn from a field of 1 to 69, with the red Power Ball drawn from a separate field of 1 to 26. Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
