NEW YORK — Two Powerball players in New York are celebrating after each winning third-prize in the August 21 drawing.
One of the winning tickets was purchased at MORENO BROTHER’S, located at 9415 Astoria Blvd in East Elmhurst, while the other was sold at WEIS MARKETS, 1109-11 Main Union Center Hwy in Endicott. Both tickets are worth $50,000.
The Powerball drawing takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., with numbers drawn from a pool of one to 69 and a separate red Power Ball from a pool of one to 26.
