Milford customer scores $50K win on Ohio Lottery Cash Explosion ticket

MILFORD, OH — A routine stop at Friend’s Convenience Store turned into a $50,000 payday for one lucky customer who purchased a $5 Cash Explosion 25x scratch-off.

The winner, who has not been publicly identified, will take home about $36,000 after federal and state tax withholdings.

The ticket carried odds of 1 in 363,636 to win the $50,000 prize. The overall odds of winning any prize in the Cash Explosion family of games are 1 in 3.77.

Friend’s Convenience Store, located at 1144 State Route 131, sold the winning ticket.

The Cash Explosion games also offer players a chance to appear on the Ohio Lottery’s long-running television show in addition to cash prizes.
