BALTIMORE, MD – On September 14, 2021, at approximately 5:37 a.m., the Baltimore City Fire Department was dispatched to the 800 block of Abbott Court for a reported dwelling fire. Fire department personnel were able to extinguish the fire and located a deceased female inside the dwelling.
The woman’s remains were transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. Upon examination, the Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide by shooting.
Homicide detectives assumed control over the investigation and identified a suspect, and obtained an arrest warrant.

On September 30, 2021, 52-year-old Keith Fleming was arrested and formally charged with the 1st Degree Murder of 55-year-old Pamala Pitts.
Fleming is currently being held at the Baltimore City Central Booking Intake Facility.
