53-year-old shot and killed early Tuesday morning

Baltimore, MD – Baltimore police are investigating an Independence day murder in the city.

On July 4, at approximately 10:40 a.m., officers from the Baltimore Police Department responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 1600 block of McHenry Street.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 53-year-old male victim with life-threatening stab wounds to his chest.

Medical personnel arrived at the scene and transported the victim to the University of Maryland Medical Center, Shock Trauma.

Despite their efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

No arrests have been made. Police have not identified any suspects.
