55-Year-old Male Found Shot on East 116th Street

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Late Saturday evening, New York City Police Department officers were called to a shooting incident at East 116th Street and Lexington Avenue.

Upon arrival, the officers discovered a 55-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his torso and leg.

Emergency Medical Services quickly transported the victim to New York City Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests made in connection with this case.

The investigation is ongoing. The identity of the deceased is being withheld until his family has been notified.
