57 Year-Old Man Shot Multiple Times And Killed In Southeast, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metro Police Department in Washington, D.C. is investigating a homicide that left a 57 year-old man shot to death yesterday afternoon. This incident took place on the 1000 block of Southern Avenue in Southeast, D.C.

According to investigators, “At approximately 3:53 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the members located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounced dead.”

57-year-old Charles Davis, of Southeast, D.C. was named as the victim.
