Albemarle County, VA – The Albemarle County Police Department reported a fatal motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on Seminole Trail (U.S. Route 29) near India Road on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 7:12 pm. Emergency units from both the Albemarle County Police Department and Albemarle County Fire Rescue promptly responded to the scene.
The pedestrian, identified as 59-year-old Charles Russell Gray of Charlottesville, was transported to the University of Virginia Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
